Installation

Stable release

To install editglancer, run this command in your terminal:

pip install editglancer

This is the preferred method to install editglancer, as it will always install the most recent stable release.

You can also specify a particular version, e.g.

pip install editglancer==5.0.0

If you don't have pip installed, this Python installation guide can guide you through the process.

From source

The source for editglancer can be downloaded from the Github repo.

You can either clone the public repository:

git clone git://github.com/CAVEconnectome/editglancer

Or download the tarball:

curl -OJL https://github.com/CAVEconnectome/editglancer/tarball/main

Once you have a copy of the source, you can install it with:

pip install .

Or in editable mode, it can be installed with:

pip install -e .
